One low corner or a wheel outside the rail means stop. Do not pull the release or try to straighten the door by hand.
A sectional door that has left its guide path can hold its weight in the wrong places. Keep the opening clear and do not stand beneath a raised panel. An opener that still runs does not make that door safe to move.
For an off-track call, first tell us how high the door is and whether a cable is hanging loose. The repair starts by establishing support and finding why the path was lost. Track and off-track work is listed from $150 per door, with the complete scope quoted after assessment.

The door position determines how it can be secured. Only after the load is controlled can a technician inspect a displaced roller, damaged hinge or cable arrangement. This is not a homeowner procedure involving a clamp and another push of the wall button.
Tell us about an impact, an object left in the opening, a bang, a frayed cable or a bind that happened before the tilt. A cable fault can lower one side while the other keeps moving. A bent rail can force a wheel outward even when the lift system is intact.
Re-seating a wheel is only one possible part of the work. The assessment checks the section shape, hinge attachment, track support and lift balance. Once the affected hardware is addressed, controlled travel is checked before normal use is discussed.
These are starting amounts, not a combined repair bill. We identify the failed hardware and explain the complete on-site quote before you authorize any work.
The displaced roller may be the result rather than the cause. A slack cable, damaged hinge or bent section can leave the door unsupported. Pushing it back without stabilizing the load can create another movement or let a panel fall.
Do not use the trapped car as a reason to cycle an uneven door. Keep the remote out of use and explain the access problem on the phone. The safe route depends on the position and support of the door, not on another attempt by the motor.
Not every case has the same scope. The condition of the panels, rails, hinges, rollers and lift hardware has to be established after the door is supported. Straightening the visible track alone does not establish that the system can travel safely.
Discuss a door in Ardmore, Wynnewood, Merion Station or Bala Cynwyd. The price guide explains the units used for published starting amounts.
Give us the door position, the sound it makes and your street address. Published starting amounts are a guide; inspection sets the complete price, which you approve before a repair begins.
